Neue RCA Legacy im August
Am 9. August bringt RCA Legacy eine neue 5-CD-Box, die schlicht „Memphis“ heißt heraus. Darin sind Aufnahmen, die sowohl im Studio als auch Live in Memphis entstanden sind. Von den 111 Songs sind 88 von Matt Ross Spang neu gemixt worden, die ganz pur und ohne Overdubs sein sollen – ganz so wie Elvis es selbst gehört hat.
Es wird außerdem eine Doppel-LP mit ausgewählten Songs geben.
Graceland bringt zusätzlich exklusiv eine auf 1000 Stück limitierte Sonderedition mit transparentem rotem Vinyl heraus, das ihr bereits jetzt vorbestellen könnt. ↪
Aus dem CD-Set hat Sony bereits das überarbeitete „Polk Salad Annie“, Live aus dem Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis vom 20. März 1974 veröffentlicht.
